ALAN SCHALLER

METROPOLIS

In his series Metropolis, photographer Alan Schaller interprets the disconnection between people in the digital age. The series examines the way in which we are dwarfed by the world around us, and how that feels. Schaller was born in London, where Metropolis also began. His work conveys the real sense of the urban life in his multiple aspects.

RUI PALHA

HANGING AROUND

"I like dark places, rainy days and troublesome places, but first and foremost I like people, authentic people." What best defines Rui Palha's posture in photography is the quote: "Photography is a very important part of my space. It is to discover, it is to capture giving flow to what the heart feels and sees in a certain moment, it is being in the street, experiencing, understanding, learning and, essentially, practicing the freedom of being, of living, of thinking".

CRAIG SEMETKO

FUNNY BUSINESS

American photographer Craig Semetko presents some of his most amusing photographs in his exhibition “Funny Business.” With images from his books "Unposed", "India Unposed" and his upcoming book on the United States, Semetko displays his trademark wit often accompanied with a profound undertone, showing why legendary photographer Elliott Erwitt describes him as “the essential photographer, the one who sees what others could not have seen”.

EYEGOBANANAS

COLLECTIVE EXHIBITION

Eyegobananas is a photography collective born in 2015 whose primary goal is to represent a world that follows no rules. "We try to produce images that represent our vision and the way we see the world: sometimes it does not necessarily mean anything to the viewer, but it does to us. We are aware of this and we have no presumption. We just wonder with a camera. Sometimes we take a picture, sometimes we don't. We discover ourselves through the images we capture". Their work has been exhibited all around the world, from Italy to United States, Europe and Asia. Eyegobananas are: Davide Albani, Riccardo Cattaneo, Giorgio Scalici, Giacomo Vesprini and Matteo Zanoni.
